Day 10: The 28 Day Workout Challenge – It’s Becoming A Challenge

The challenge is becoming a challenge. My team is starting to feel the heat. Some people on here are scared, sad, confused and troubled. You know when you set a goal to workout, lose weight, follow a diet, but after days you just want to give up because eating boring food sucks.

That’s exactly how some of my team members are feeling. The temptations are everywhere. Now more than ever they have themselves surrounded by junk food and sugary food.

Like, before you started the challenge no one thought of sending you a box of cupcakes but here they are, delivered at your doorstep. It’s so great a temptation to overcome. Some have given in to their cravings and others reject the pizza invites sorrowfully. It’s tough, I know, I’ve been there, it’s where I started.

Moving on, today was another full body day and these were our exercises;

1. Jumping jacks 30s

2. Side hops 30s

3. Arm scissors 14s

4. Adductor stretch in standing x14

5. Burpees x8

6. Side lying leg lift left x12

7. Side lying leg lift right x12

8. Plank 40s

9. Skipping without rope 30s

10. Arms scissors 12s

11. Adductor stretch in standing x10

12. Burpees x6

13. Side lying leg lift left x10

14. Side lying leg lift right x10

15. Cobra stretch 30s

16. Child’s pose 30s

17. Lying butterfly stretch 60s

Our meal plan had;

⁃ Two glasses of lukewarm lemon/turmeric water before breakfast

⁃ Breakfast: 2 olive oil fried eggs

⁃ Lunch: Pumpkin + cabbage + 1 tomato + 1 onion

⁃ Dinner: Grilled chicken breast + cauliflower + tomatoes

⁃ Team members are encouraged to eat a fruit between meals if they feel super hungry

⁃ Taking a glass of water every two hours

And that was Day 10!
