Day 13: The 28 Day Workout Challenge- Power Abs Day

Another power abs day yaayy! It’s been a interesting journey for me, but most especially for my team. For those who did not give up on the diet and exercises, they are starting to see results and I love it. I’m a proud teacher right now(haha).

Today was a very exciting abs day. We did the following set of core exercises:

Rolling planks x20 -2

Sit up to twists x20 -2

Glute bridge leg raise x20 -2

Slow extensions x20 -2

Weighted alternate leg raises x20 -2

Weighted leg raise x20 -2

Plank Jacks x20 -2

Downward dog crunches x20 -2

Visit Marches x20 -2

To be honest, these exercises burn and hurt. I almost cried the first time I tried them out, in fact I didn’t go past the first set. But right now I can do two sets with ease. It still burns, but not like when haha just started them.

Our diet for today included:

⁃ Two glasses of lukewarm lemon/turmeric water before breakfast

⁃ Breakfast: Oatmeal (small bowl)

⁃ Lunch: 2 medium slices of watermelon + 1 banana

⁃ Dinner: 1 slice of pumpkin + 1/2 avocado

⁃ Team members are encouraged to eat a fruit between meals if they feel super hungry

⁃ Taking a glass of water every two hours

And that was day 13. Tomorrow we’ll be completing the second week of this challenge. I couldn’t be more grateful.
