Day 14: The 28 Day Workout Challenge – End Of Week 2

We have finally compelled two whole weeks of this challenge. If you haven’t tried out the #28dayworkoutchallenge you probably have no idea how hard this is. I’m so proud of my team. And of course, I want to share Gracia’s progress so far.

In her own words, here’s how she feels at this point in the challenge. “Guys, somehow I have not been too strict with the diet, I can find myself going wrong somewhere and I would be okay with it. Then the workouts, one that gives me hard time I would just forego.

But this morning while I was going to shower, I looked at myself in the mirror and noticed a difference. Somehow I’m shaping up, the belly is reducing. I can’t believe it.

But this is like an eye opening moment for me to get more serious with the diet and workouts. I was getting discouraged because I have not been seeing a change.

I can imagine how far I would be if I had taken it more seriously…but woah, I’m pumped up now. It’s very exciting.”

Progress is progress, no matter how small. What matters is you’re not where you started. I’m so proud of Gracia and the team.

Here is our set of exercises for today:

Rolling planks x20 -2

Sit up to twists x20 -2

Glute bridge leg raise x20 -2

Slow extensions x20 -2

Weighted alternate leg raises x20 -2

Weighted leg raise x20 -2

Plank Jacks x20 -2

Downward dog crunches x20 -2

Visit Marches x20 -2

And this is what we ate:

⁃ Two glasses of lukewarm lemon/turmeric water before breakfast

⁃ Breakfast: Any whole wheat cereal(use plain yoghurt to taste) or 250ml of plain yoghurt

⁃ Lunch: 4 steamed Irish potatoes + 1 cucumber

⁃ Dinner: 250ml plain yogurt + 1 banana

⁃ Team members are encouraged to eat a fruit between meals if they feel super hungry

⁃ Taking a glass of water every two hours
