Day 5 : The 28 Day Workout Challenge- First Abs Day

I don’t know what it is about Abs days but they always get me super excited. I guess it’s the sensation of the heat (of course that can only mean we’re burning those calories) in your lower tummy and chest, and the feeling of your belly muscles get stronger and firmer.

Yes, today our main focus was the core and I believe we did great. Still pushing forward with the #28dayworkoutchallenge and all I can say is, so far so good.

Here’s how our first abs day went:


1. Jumping jacks 30s

2. High stepping 30s

3. Mountain climber x24

4. Reverse crunches x18

5. Leg raises x16

6. Heel touch x20

7. Reclined oblique twist x16

8. Heels to the heavens x12

9. Plank x30s

10. Skipping without rope 30s

11. Mountain climbers x22

12. Reverse crunches x16

13. Leg raises x14

14. Heel touch x18

15. Reclines oblique twist x14

16. Heels to the heavens x10

17. Plank 30s

18. Cobra stretch 30s

19. Lying twist stretch left 30s

20. Lying twist stretch right 30s

Our meal plan included;

⁃ Two glasses of lukewarm water before breakfast

⁃ Breakfast: 2 chops of boiled cassava +onions+tomatoes+avocado

⁃ Lunch: Chicken salad

⁃ Dinner: Carrots + cabbage + Onions+ tomatoes salad
