On 2nd October, 2020, I uploaded my first ever workout video on YouTube. That wasn’t the first time I had worked out in my entire life though(haha).
That video has a catchy title: How To Lose Belly Fat In 28 Days. Like I always do, I shared my video on all my social media platforms for my friends and followers to watch. To my surprise, it was well received.
Many people liked the video. It had the highest engagement in 24 hours than any other video I had ever uploaded. I was very excited and happy with it. And then came the comment that changed the entire game for me.
Someone from the comment section of my workout video tweet said it was impossible to actually lose belly fat in only 28 days.
That’s when I got the entire idea. “Let me set up a 28 day workout challenge with a group of interested people and we shall present our results after the time elapses.”
Immediately, I made the tweet. I thought no one would sign up to join the challenge. I was beyond shocked. I thought I’d get only about five to ten people.
Guess what. I ended up signing up seventeen people, and there were more who still wanted to be part of the challenge. I wanted to have everyone on board, but it was going to be hard checking on everyone, advising and tracking all their progress. So I settled for a number I thought I could work with, without taking too much from me.
That’s how the #28dayworkoutchallenge was born. I got the team, I got the nutritionist, and we’re ready. We’re taking on the challenge and we are ready to show you that disciplined work outs, combined with a carefully chosen and healthy diet can certainly help you lose belly fat within 28 days.
Day 1 will be Sunday 4th October, 2020. I’ll document the entire challenge on this blog and on all my social media platforms using the hashtag #28dayworkoutchallenge.
